What Details are required on the form?As a general guide, and in addition to general details, ME4U request the following information.

• Group Name - Name of your community or voluntary group or organisation.
• Contact - Please indicate a group member that we can contact regarding the vacancy posting.
• Vacancy Title - This is the title that will appear in your advertisement on this site.
• Address - of either key group members contacts, a community office etc.
• Vacancy Location - please indicate location if different from address.
• Postcode - Cross-border partnerships only.
• Day Number/ Mobile Number - of group facility or key member contacts.
• E-mail address - this is the e-mail address that we will use on our mailing lists for all correspondence regarding projects, events, activities, volunteer placements.
• Number of members - an approximate number of current group members.
• Volunteer Role(s) - Please provide details of the vacancies including time commitments - where different positions are available, please provide a description of each, or complete a separate web form for each and submit to ME4U.
• About Your Group - Please provide general details about your group - e.g. number of years in existence, current group activities/projects, group aims and objectives.
• Volunteer Skills - Please provide details of essential and desirable skills necessary to undertake the volunteer role(s) - provide as much detail as possible.
• Time Commitments - Please provide details of the time commitment that volunteers will be asked to provide to your group. Indicate whether this commitment is continuous or once off.

How much information is required on the volunteer role, skills, group, time commitments?The amount of information which any community and voluntary group provides us with is ultimately at the discretion of the person(s) completing this web form. We would advise that as much information as possible is provided so that potential volunteers are well informed about the role, skill requirements, time commitments and different aspects of your group and its activities. Please feel free to provide as much or as little detail as you feel is necessary in recruiting new volunteers.

Is there a charge for this service?Quite simply No. The ME4U Volunteers agency is funded by the Department of Community Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs to promote volunteering in Co. Donegal. Therefore we aim to assist communities for FREE.

IWhat happens when I submit a vacancy?When you complete this web form and submit to ME4U, your details will be e-mailed to a member of the ME4U team and we will review the details provided before advertising the vacancy on our website. We will also conduct a search on our volunteer(s) database to see if any of our registered volunteers have skills that match your vacancy requirements. We will contact suitable volunteers directly to make them aware of the new position as advertised on this site.
